|Faculty Position in the Department of English
Burman University seeks to fill a tenure-track position in the English department. The successful candidate will have a PhD in English with multidisciplinary teaching or research interests in history. An MA in history would be a desirable qualification.
Candidates will demonstrate effective teaching practices and the capacity to supervise undergraduate writing. In addition to teaching in English and in British or North American history, the successful candidate will be actively engaged in research and publication. The ideal candidate will have the potential and vision to develop an English internship program to provide practical experience alongside academic study.
Position Summary: This is a full-time, tenure-track position as an Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor of English, with a salary range of $51,648 to $79,856 depending on education and experience, plus a full benefit package.
