Dr. Chloe Weir Appointed Vice President for Academic Administration

 

Burman University is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Chloe Weir as Vice President for Academic Administration (VPAA). Dr. Weir has most recently served as Interim VPAA since January 2026, following the retirement of then current VPAA, Dr. Noble Donkor. Dr. Weir was selected following a comprehensive search process.

Dr. Weir brings excellent leadership qualities to the position,” said Dr. Loren Agrey, Burman University President. “Her experience as Dean of the School of Education, combined with her service as Interim VPAA, has demonstrated her ability to lead Burman’s academic programs with excellence and vision.”

During her five years as Dean of the School of Education, Dr. Weir balanced teaching, research, administration, and collaboration with government agencies and external partners while supporting student success and academic growth.

I am deeply honoured and humbled to accept the position of Vice President for Academic Administration at Burman University,” said Dr. Weir. “I look forward to collaborating closely with faculty, staff, and students as we write the next chapter in academic innovation and excellence.

Dr. Weir emphasized her commitment to fostering a community grounded in Burman’s core values of Excellence, Integrity, Spirituality, Community, and Service, while continuing to provide a transformational educational experience for students.
