LastPass is a password manager that stores encrypted passwords online. LastPass comes with a web interface, but also includes plugins for various web browsers and apps for many smartphones. LastPass has a form filler that automates password entering and form filling, and it supports password generation, site sharing and site logging, and two-factor authentication.
Burman University LastPass Enterprise Account
Several Burman departments are using the Burman LastPass Enterprise subscription. If you would like to enroll your department or just find out more about using LastPass, send an email to ITTICKET@BURMANU.CA. Once enrolled, you will be able to securely share passwords to your department accounts, web sites that your may utilize, or other notes and content that you want to make available in a secure manner. You may link your free personal LastPass account to your Burman one so that you can access your personal information while at work, while keeping your work information separate. Burman enforces the use of two-factor authentication on all LastPass accounts.
