Yuja is a a video and digital media management platform.  It is integrated within our BrightSpace (D2L) Learning Management System and available as a stand alone service by logging in at  https://burmanu.yuja.com/.

Details

With YuJa, you can easily create, record and edit videos using multiple input sources.  It can be used for lecture capture, lesson preparation or student assignment responses.  Any digital content from your YuJa media library can be securely shared with any other campus user.  There is a client available from within the platform that you can install to create recordings, or you can use a browser based recorder. Contact the Burman IT Office if you need assistance installing the client. A mobile app is also available for use on iOS and Android devices.

Account:  All Burman faculty, staff and students will have their Burman accounts automatically integrated with the YuJa service.  When you are signed into D2L, there will be a YuJa tab on the main menu bar.  If you are signing into the stand alone platform, use your Burman username and password to access it.

Free support for using YuJa is available for faculty/staff and students at the following: https://support.yuja.com/hc/en-us.  From here, you can search for the topic of choice, or call YuJa support for immediate response.  Many short tutorial videos are available here also.

Zoom Integration:  Our YuJa license also allows you to save your Zoom recordings to your YuJa media library.  This also allows us to reduce the amount of storage needed in Zoom.  To set this integration, there is a one time setup process to verify your account information.  Follow the instructions here, or contact the IT Support office if you have any problems completing that.
