British Columbia & Yukon

Students from British Columbia and the Yukon must meet the following admission requirements.

Completion of high school
English Studies 12 or English First Peoples 12 with a minimum grade of 60%
Four (4) additional grade 12 courses, three (3) of which must be academic courses
An overall average of 60%, with no grade below 55%

Program Specific Admission Requirements

Some programs require specific high school prerequisites. Unless otherwise specified, all prerequisite courses must have a minimum grade of 60% to qualify for admission. The prerequisite courses listed below must be presented as part of the five (5) grade 12 courses used to evaluate for admission.

Behavioural Science	Pre-calculus 12 with a minimum grade of 60% OR Foundations of Math 12 with a minimum grade of 70%
Biology	Anatomy and Physiology 12 Chemistry 12 Pre-calculus 12 Physics 12 (not required, but recommended)
Business Administration	Pre-calculus 12
Education Elementary	Pre-calculus 12 with a minimum grade of 60% OR Foundations of Math 12 with a minimum grade of 70% Grade 12 level science Grade 12 level social studies/foreign language (World History, Law Studies, Social Justice, Human Geography, French, etc.)
Education Secondary Biology	Anatomy and Physiology 12 Chemistry 12 Pre-Calculus 12
Education Secondary Mathematics	Pre-calculus 12 with a minimum grade of 70% Chemistry 12
Education Secondary Social Studies	Pre-calculus 12 Grade 12 level social studies/foreign language (World History, Law Studies, Social Justice, Human Geography, French, etc.)
Education After-Degrees	Completion of a 3 or 4 year bachelor's degree with a minimum GPA of 2.5
International Studies	Pre-calculus 12
Music	Audition is required
Nursing (Kettering College block transfer agreement)	Minimum grade of 65% for all courses English Studies 12 Pre-calculus 12 or Foundations of Math 12 (minimum grade of 70%) Anatomy and Physiology 12 Chemistry 12
Psychology	Pre-calculus 12 with a minimum grade of 60% OR Foundations of Math 12 with a minimum grade of 70% A Grade 12 level Lab Science (preferably Anatomy and Physiology or Chemistry 12)
